'Giant of Africa': Nigerian Passport Ranked 50th in Africa

While most Nigerian political class can boast of diplomatic passports, Nigerians whose green passport is ‘one and only’ have been ranked 50th out of 54th in Africa and 95th in the world.

According to the Henley Passport Index report released on Thursday, 18th of January 2024, the Nigerian passport now ranks 50th in Africa. However, Nigeria still maintains a visa-free score of 45 destinations.
