Youths protest in Delta, against police brutality

Hundreds of Nigerians have taken to the streets in Ughelli, Delta State, to protest against unchecked police brutality and extortion targeting Nigerian youths.

The protesters, in videos circulating online, are calling on the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, the Police Service Commission, and all concerned citizens to rein in police personnel who have allegedly turned into armed robbers in uniform, aided by corrupt senior officers who share the ill-gotten gains.

The demonstration, fueled by mounting frustration with the pervasive issue of police misconduct, has garnered significant attention on social media platforms.
