‘Radio Voice’ Trailer

The official trailer for Radio Voice, the much-anticipated drama from RMD Productions, has been released before its premiere on April 11. Directed by Isioma Osaje in her directorial debut, the film promises a heartfelt exploration of redemption, resilience, and the courage to start over.

Radio Voice follows the story of a sex worker who unexpectedly becomes the key to reviving a struggling radio station. But just as she begins to embrace her new life, the shadows of her past threaten to undo her progress. Beyond its gripping plot, the movie also delves into themes of grief, healing, and the power of second chances.

The star-studded cast includes Nancy Isime, Damilola Adegbite, Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, Blossom Chukwujekwu, and Nse Ikpe Etim. Legendary actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), who serves as the executive producer, also takes on a significant role in the film. The production is further supported by co-producers Blessing Nze and Yolande Okereke.

Sharing the official poster on Instagram, RMD wrote, “It is a story of second chances, purpose and finding the courage to speak even when the world tries to silence you. Every scene. Every word. Every heartbeat in this film carries a piece of us. We’ve poured so much love into it, and it’s time to share it with you”.

The project marks a milestone for Osaje, who has made a name for herself as a respected producer and now steps confidently into the director’s chair. Meanwhile, RMD’s production company celebrates this as its first major feature explicitly designed for the big screen.

This isn’t the only reason RMD has been in the spotlight recently. He and his son, Oghenetega, were honoured at the Utah International Film Festival, where their film Revelations won multiple awards. RMD’s performance earned him the Best Actor award, while the film was named Best International Film.

Looking ahead, the Nollywood veteran is also set to feature in the highly anticipated adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s Children of Blood and Bone, adding yet another feather to his cap.

With Radio Voice set to hit cinemas in just a few weeks, audiences can expect a powerful narrative that speaks to resilience and the human spirit.
