Paris 2024: D’Tigress Beats Australia in Historic Olympic Win

605

Nigeria’s D’Tigress made a memorable win by thrashing world number three, Australia, with a final score of 75-62.  It turns out to be the first win of Nigeria at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics and only the second win so far at the Olympic Games.

D’Tigress, in the game, showed class and character. The Nigerian team dominated the court with display and fighting spirit, outmanoeuvring the experienced Australian team in what can best be termed a landmark performance.
