Nigerian Entrepreneurs Gather for Growth at DBNC 2024

Despite economic headwinds, Nigeria’s business community is gearing up for the 4th annual Doing Business in Nigeria Conference (DBNC) on April 13, 2024.

Themed “Sustainable Transformations: Innovating for Growth,” the conference aims to help businesses navigate challenging times.  Held at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, DBNC 2024 will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, strategic discussions, and fostering connections among entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

With inflation nearing 30%, the conference emphasizes the need for innovation to achieve sustainable growth. It will feature keynote speakers addressing critical topics like navigating Nigeria’s business landscape, the economic impact of empowering female entrepreneurs, and strategies for success.  Confirmed speakers include prominent figures from Interswitch, BMG7even, and Stanbic IBTC Bank.

Panel sessions offer valuable insights from influential players across various sectors.  The first panel, “Doing Business in Nigeria: The Opportunities, Challenges & Realities,” will feature government officials, CEOs, and industry leaders discussing the current business climate.  The second panel, “Catalysts for Success: Strategic Business Growth Approaches,” will explore strategies for sustainable growth, featuring executives from the Development Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian Communications Satellite, and Sahara Group.

This year’s DBNC aligns with Women’s Month by highlighting the importance of female entrepreneurship in driving economic prosperity. Additionally, the conference offers aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to win grants.  Selected businesses will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, with winners receiving grants of up to ₦5 million to support their ventures.
