Davido Drops Lavish Music Video for Hit Song “Away,” Featuring Real Madrid Stars

Nigerian superstar Davido, known to fans as Davido, has finally released the music video for his smash hit “Away.” The highly anticipated visuals boast cameos from some of Real Madrid’s biggest names, including Vinicius Jr., Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Toni Rudiger, and David Alaba.

Davido announced the video’s release on social media, much to the excitement of his fans. “Away” is a standout track from his critically acclaimed fourth studio album, “Timeless.”

The music video takes viewers on a luxurious adventure as Davido and his crew travel the world in style. Private jets, yachts, and champagne celebrations paint a picture of opulence.  Interspersed throughout the video are glimpses from Davido’s recently concluded “Timeless” concert tour.

Davido released “Timeless” in March 2023 and subsequently received his first Grammy Award nominations. “Timeless” itself is nominated for “Best Global Album,” while “Unavailable” and “Feel” are contenders in the “Best African Performance” and “Best Global Music Performance” categories, respectively.
