Mohbad: NairaMarley Release New Song, Netizens Reacts

Despite the cloud of controversy and accusations hovering over Naira Marley regarding Mohbad’s death, shockwaves rippled through the internet this morning, with reports surfacing that the Marlian Music boss had dropped a new song titled “Wahala.”

However, the release of this song sparked intense reactions across social media platforms. 

@chameleon_fr wrote on X  ”Naira marley just released a song, is Mohbad case over.”

@xatbiodam wrote: ”If Naira Marley likes he should feature Micheal Jackson we still won’t listen or stream his song.”

@IbkSports wrote: ”Naira Marley has dropped a new single and if it eventually top charts, I will never take Nigerians serious again.”

Naira Marley, once adored by many, had faced significant backlash and cancellations from radio stations and show promoters following the accusations linked to Mohbad’s passing.

The release of “Wahala” amidst ongoing scrutiny has ignited fresh debates, stirring emotions and raising questions about the nature of support, accountability, and the music industry’s ethical considerations amidst such controversies. 

Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry had made headlines earlier as they were spotted strolling and reuniting with Zinoleesky after their release from police custody.

This viral video surfaced online, reigniting conversations about their alleged involvement in the untimely demise of former Marlian Music signee Mohbad.

On October 6 when, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were arraigned and subsequently remanded over their suspected connection to Mohbad’s passing.

However, on November 6, a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted bail to the Marlian Music boss and Sam Larry, setting their bond at  N20 million. 

As part of their bail conditions, they were required to surrender their international passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Panti.

MohBad’s tragic demise on September 12, 2023, stirred controversy when it was discovered that the nurse administering a Tetanus vaccine to him was unlicensed.  This discovery led to her arrest on September 19 by the Lagos Police Command.
