María Fernanda Beltrán, representing Sinaloa, has been crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2024,securing her role as the host delegate for the upcoming Miss Universe 2024 pageant. The 24-year-old, who holds a degree in Marketing and Communication and is pursuing a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, was awarded the prestigious title during the competition’s grand finale on September 6th.
The selection process saw 15 finalists chosen by a jury, with an additional contestant voted in by the public through the Miss Universe Mexico app. The judging panel, which included notable figures such as Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza and actress Geraldine Bazán, among others, ultimately selected Beltrán as the winner.
Beltrán will now prepare to welcome over 80 contestants from around the world to Mexico for the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, with the final event scheduled to take place at Arena Ciudad de México on November 12.
The ceremony concluded with the reigning Miss Universe, Sheynnis Palacios, crowning María Fernanda Beltrán as the new Miss Universe Mexico, beginning her journey towards the global stage.
