Isaac Bristol Regains Freedom After Meeting Bail Conditions

Isaac Bristol, whom the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) alleged to be behind anonymous whistleblower @PIDOMNIGERIA on X, has regained freedom, having met the bail conditions to leave Kuje Correctional facility in Abuja.

This was contained in a post made on Friday by Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters, depicting the image of Bristol and a member of his family.

This afternoon, whistleblower and investigative journo Isaac Bristol @PIDOMNIGERIA left Kuje prison a free man after fulfilling his bail conditions,” Sowore’s post reads.

As earlier reported on September 27, Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja granted Bristol’s bail on the conditions of a N5 million bail with one surety in like sum, among others.

This was following his abduction and a trial for alleged terrorism, money laundering, and breach of the Official Secrets Act.

However, as laid by the NPF, these allegations omitted the violation of human rights meted upon Bristol.

Meanwhile, as of press time, Bristol is yet to make an official statement about his release.
