890

Renowned Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido reaffirms his global musical dominance with another sold-out spectacle at London’s prestigious O2 Arena on January 28, 2024. The announcement, delivered by The O2 on X, solidifies Davido’s position as a truly international music titan, captivating massive audiences on the grandest stages worldwide.

This forthcoming sold-out event at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena marks a significant chapter in Davido’s rapid ascent. Following his historic 2019 milestone as the first Nigerian solo artist to sell out the O2 Arena, Davido continues to establish himself as a pioneer and legend in the Afrobeats movement.

Part of Davido’s expansive “Timeless Tour,” which commenced in 2023 after the release of his record-breaking fourth album, appropriately titled “Timeless,” this achievement underscores his electrifying stage presence and genre-defying musical prowess.

Beyond arena triumphs, January 2024 holds Grammy aspirations for Davido, nominated in three categories: Best African Song Performance (“Unavailable”), Best Global Song Performance (“Feel”), and Best Global Album (“Timeless”). A triumph would not only signify a historic moment for Afrobeats but also propel Davido even higher in the global musical spotlight.
