Dauda Abdulfatai Takes on 200-Hour Ironing Marathon in Quest for Guinness World Record

Nigerian citizen, Dauda Abdulfatai has embarked on a remarkable 200-hour ironing marathon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous ironing session. Commencing on Wednesday at Off Ajaokuta Road, Ganaja Village, Lokoja, Kogi State, Dauda aims to surpass the existing record of 100 hours set by Gareth Sander from the United Kingdom.

The Guinness World Record officially accepted Dauda’s application, granting him permission to pursue this extraordinary feat. This endeavour follows the trend of Nigerians seeking recognition in the Guinness World Records, exemplified by figures like chef Hilda Effiong Bassey and community leader Sanya Atofarati.
