CBS News Fraudulently Edits Kamala Harris Interview As Compromised US Media Embarks On Global Anti-Misinformation Drive

American Television Station CBS News has been exposed to have misinformed the public by fraudulently editing an interview it had with Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris on its “60Mins Show”.

Based on a clip exposing the act, CBS News removed Harris’s original response to a question and replaced it with her response to another question at the beginning of the interview.

The US Vice President was asked to comment on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to listen (to calls for a ceasefire). Harris’s original response to the question, although vague, exposes the dishonesty of the American government in its public calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, where Israel has killed over 40,000 people, mostly women and children, since October 7, 2023.

She said,

The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or as a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.

However, in the edited interview published by CBS News, a different answer to another question was inserted after the question to cover up her incoherence.

In the edited clip, she said,

We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.

This exposes the US propaganda about Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the dishonesty in its calls for de-escalation.

This is also a testament that many supposed independent media outlets in the US are compromised, yet they champion fact-checking and anti-mis(dis)information campaigns globally.

CBS News has a vibrant factcheck desk and often publishes factcheck reports on claims made by republican politicians in the US.
