Brit Awards: Burna Boy, Rema, Tyla, Others Bag Nominations

African superstars, Asake, Burna Boy, Rema, Tyla and Libianca have been nominated for the 2024 Brit Awards.

In the Best International Artist category, Burna Boy and Asake found themselves nominated alongside American icons like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Sza, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lana Del Rey.

Rema secured a nomination in the Best International Song category with his chart-topping single ‘Calm Down’. Joining him are other African talents, including Cameroonian-American singer Libianca, recognized for her track ‘People’, and South African rising star Tyla, acknowledged for her hit record ‘Water’.
