Lagos International Airport, one of Nigeria’s busiest travel hubs, is currently engulfed in darkness due to a power outage. Travellers have found themselves stranded amidst delayed flights as the airport grappled with the unforeseen crisis.

The outage, which started late in the evening, cast the airport terminal into an eerie darkness, leaving passengers bewildered and frustrated.

Videos captured by passengers on their smartphones depicted scenes of confusion and disarray as individuals navigated through the dimly lit terminal.

In the video above, a distressed passenger could be heard lamenting about being stranded due to the flight delays caused by the power outage.

Reports indicate that travellers resorted to using their mobile phones as a source of light to navigate through the darkened airport corridors.

As of the time of writing this report, the airport authorities are yet to provide a comprehensive explanation for the cause of the power outage or an estimated time for resolution.
