Bandits Storm Kaduna School, Abduct Over 100 Pupils, Head Teacher

Bandits have invaded LEA primary school in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting over a 100 pupils and some staff Thursday morning.

The incident took place around 8am after the school morning assembly. The head teacher of the school is reportedly among those kidnapped.

Due to previous security issues, the school had moved to its current location in Kuriga town from a more vulnerable position outside the town.

Witnesses reported seeing children fleeing in panic as the bandits arrived. The victims were reportedly forced into the forest.

The state government and police are yet to make an official statement on the issue as of the time of this report.
