Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled his final 23-man squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Chelle, who released a provisional 39-man list last week, trimmed the squad ahead of his debut games in charge of the three-time African champions.

His selection includes a blend of experienced internationals and fresh faces, including three home-based players from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The announcement was made earlier today, with the notable exclusion of Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa.

The squad features three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards. Nigeria will face Rwanda and Zimbabwe as they begin their quest for a place at the 2026 World Cup, set to be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
