The stage is set for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with all 24 teams confirmed for the highly anticipated tournament scheduled to take place in December 2025 in Morocco.

The qualifiers concluded on Tuesday, revealing a mix of familiar powerhouses and surprise entrants ready to compete for Africa’s football title.

The host nation, Morocco, secured an automatic berth in the competition, while defending champions Ivory Coast are also among the qualified teams.

Other powerhouse teams such as Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, and Tunisia also booked their places, promising a fierce contest for the trophy.
