#EndBadGovernance Protesters Attacked in Effurun, Delta State

Peaceful #EndBadGovernance protesters in Effurun, Delta State, were attacked today as part of the ongoing protests across the country. The protesters, expressing their frustration over hunger, economic hardship, and governance issues, were attacked by thugs.

A video posted on X shows the victim with injuries on his head. He noted that they had gathered to express their grievances peacefully.

”In front of the military, police, and other security agencies, our local government chairman brought thugs to attack us,” he said.

The protest, tagged #EndBadGovernance, has swept through the length and breadth of Nigeria with calls for better economic policies and governance.
