President Bassirou Diomaye FAYE will address the nation on Saturday, July 13, 2024. This will be the to address his first hundred days of his stay in office.

The event is scheduled to be held within the presidential palace, allowing the President to express himself directly to the people and respond to questions from journalists.

The event, announced by RTS through its website, is expected to cover many critical topics such as good governance, reduction of prices on basic needs, fighting corruption, and missions of ongoing audits. 

For the said address, the state broadcaster picked these central themes pertinent to the agenda of the President and key areas of interest by the public.

Since he assumed office, President Faye has remained under public scrutiny to enable people to see the direction in which his policies and projects will take Senegal. Worthy of note are the promises of anti-corruption and improved governance, which strike a chord with the citizens.
