Attacks on Peter Obi by Omokri, Bwala, and Onanuga shows APC lost presidential election —Dalung

457

Former Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung has issued a scathing rebuke against prominent APC supporters who consistently target and vilify Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

Dalung’s criticism was directed at Reno Omokri, Bayo Onanuga, and Daniel Bwala, who have made it their mission to attack Obi in the media.

In a statement posted on his X, Dalung condemned the relentless attacks on Obi, mainly whenever he offers commentary on national issues or events.

He emphasised the need for civility and respect in political discourse, asserting that personal attacks have no place in democratic dialogue.

Dalung’s remarks come amid a pattern of hostile rhetoric directed at Obi by certain government supporters, including Omokri, Onanuga, and Bwala.

These individuals have consistently criticised Obi’s statements and actions, fueling speculation about the motives behind their relentless onslaught.

“The manner @renoomokri, @aonanuga1956 and the new @officialABAT convert @BwalaDaniel attack and vilify @PeterObi in every statement or post made in the media space has convinced me beyond reasonable doubt that their principal snatched his mandate but he cannot run away with it,” stated Dalung.
