Deyemi Okanlawon, a renowned Nigerian actor, marked his directorial debut with the romantic comedy film “All’s Fair In Love,” which achieved remarkable success in its initial days of release. Grossing N10.4 million in its advanced screening just two days after hitting cinemas, the movie sets a new standard as the highest-grossing rom-com to surpass the N10 million mark in such a short time. Premiered on Valentine’s Day, “All’s Fair In Love” earned an impressive N7.6 million in ticket sales, according to recent data from the Nigerian Box Office (NGA Box Office). The movie’s storyline revolves around the complexities of relationships between two Nigerian business partners and friends, portrayed by Deyemi Okanlawon and Timini Egbuson, who found themselves vying for the affection of the same woman, played by Buhle Samuels. The ensemble cast featured esteemed actors such as Ireti Doyle, Juliet Ibrahim, Adedimeji Lateef, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udonsenm, Oprah Okereke, and Timilehin Ojeola.
