Breaking News: Tinubu Set to Decapitalize Abuja, Moves FAAN to Lagos

The Tinubu-led administration has given a directive to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to be relocated from Abuja to the former state capital of Lagos.

In a memo signed and released on Monday 15th of January, by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Managing Director, Mrs. Olubumi Kuku, depicting the directives of the Tinubu-appointed Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo to relocate the airport authority from its headquarters in Abuja to Lagos State.

In a recall on Sunday, 14th of January, reportedly, Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave a directive to decongest some of the staff members of the Apex bank at Abuja. This is a move some of the staff and concerned Northern Elders Forum leaders contested against.

However, the managing director/chief executive of FAAN urged her staff members to provide the implication of relocation to the management.
