Nigeria is under a rampageous terrorist attack, and the military zones are not left out as armed terrorists with sophisticated weapons, including AK-47s, attacked a joint military camp at Nahuta village in Batsari LGA of Katsina State.

According to reports, this incident occurred at about 11:30 pm on Sunday. Although no fatalities were recorded during the attack, the assailants destroyed vehicles and other valuables during their attack. The security source attached to the camp told Channels TV on Monday that the personnel attached to the camp was able to repel the attack even though the bandits outweighed them.

“The bandits outweighed us and invaded the camp where they set ablaze our vehicles and property because there was no reinforcement throughout the encounter,” the source explained.

Seizing the opportunity, the hoodlums infiltrated Nahuta town, looting shops, entering homes and making off with valuables and livestock worth millions of naira.

However, security agencies have not issued any official statement on this recent bandit attack.
