627

Nigerian music sensation Davido is set to take center stage at the UnitedMasters Grammy Weekend Concert, adding to the prelude of the 66th Academy Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024, at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles.

Scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2024, at the iconic Hollywood Palladium, the concert promises a star-studded lineup featuring Davido, Dominican rapper Tokischa, and South Africa-based DJ Artist Uncle Waffles.

Last year’s event drew in over 2,500, with notable figures such as Jay Z, Beyonce, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Future, and Damson Idris gracing the occasion. UnitedMasters, announcing the exciting lineup on its Instagram account, anticipates another unforgettable night of music.

Davido’s recent triumphs include the outstanding success of his comeback album, “Timeless,” surpassing one billion streams. The album’s acclaim goes beyond mere recognition, securing three Grammy nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards.

In response to his Grammy nominations, Davido highlighted resilience, especially in the wake of delays, drawing attention to the prior recognition of his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid, by the academy.

This marks a significant victory for Afrobeats, solidifying its global impact on the music scene.
