Illbliss, a prominent figure in Nigerian hip-hop, has revealed the impending release of his latest album, “Sideh – Kai,” scheduled for February 16, 2024.
The album boasts an array of featured artists, including rappers Vector and Odumodublvck, Afropop sensations Teni and Fave, alongside Lade, Afrobeat maestro Made Kuti, and the highlife duo, Umu Obiligbo.
With a musical career marked by pioneering contributions to the Nigerian rap scene, Illbliss has earned recognition as a key influencer in the genre’s evolution and commercialisation within the country.
“Sideh – Kai” marks Illbliss’ seventh solo album, marking his return to the spotlight since his last release in 2020.
This latest album aims to further solidify Illbliss’ legacy within Nigerian hip hop, particularly his significant role in propelling Igbo rap music forward.
