Veteran Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe-Etim celebrated a milestone birthday yesterday, turning 50 years old, and marked the occasion by also sharing a post on X.

Ikpe-Etim, known for different movie roles, posted a photo of herself with the caption: “Walking into 50 with certainty, gratitude, and an open heart for all that’s ahead.”

Her post was met with an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities alike.

Abiodun Borisade, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, made an inappropriate comment that became controversial to the post.

Borisade commented on Ikpe-Etim’s post, writing, OMG you are not wearing a bra in this picture dress and you ain’t all South… Lovely 🌹.

The comment has since sparked controversy, as many users call it unprofessional and disrespecting the actress.

Some users argued that Borisade’s comment was distasteful and unbecoming of a government official, especially someone responsible for managing public communications and representing the government’s image online.

However, despite comments from other users on X asking him to make amends for the comment, he refused and told them to “go to hell”
