The North Central region was anticipated to have sunny intervals with patches of clouds throughout the forecast period.

A cloudy atmosphere was predicted for the southern region, with morning thunderstorms likely over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms were expected in several southern states.

On Saturday, the forecast included sunny skies with haze in the north, with the possibility of afternoon and evening thunderstorms in Kaduna State.

The North Central region would likely see a similar pattern of sunny intervals and clouds, while isolated thunderstorms were forecasted for the Federal Capital Territory and surrounding states.

The southern region was expected to have a cloudy atmosphere with intermittent sunshine and morning thunderstorms in some areas, followed by isolated thunderstorms later in the day.

Sunday’s forecast indicated sunny skies with haze in the northern region. The North Central region would experience a mix of sun and clouds, with isolated thunderstorms later in the day in certain states.

In the southern region, a cloudy atmosphere was expected with morning thunderstorms in specific states, followed by isolated thunderstorms in other areas later in the day.

NiMet advised the public to take precautions against strong winds preceding thunderstorms and recommended that airline operators stay updated on weather reports for effective planning.
