1.7k

Pharrell Williams, who took on the role of creative director for Louis Vuitton menswear in February 2023, showcased his Spring/Summer 2025 Men’s Collection at Paris Fashion Week on June 18, 2024. The event, held on a turf-lined outdoor runway at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, was a star-studded affair. Attendees included top celebrities, stylists, fashion influencers, and editors. Among the front-row guests, Nigerian stars made a significant impression with their fashion choices.

Afrobeats sensation Rema stood out with his denim-on-denim ensemble, paired with a stylish brown veracity jacket. Adekunle Gold brought a vibrant energy to the event, donning a bomber jacket adorned with colourful neon graffiti designs. Wizkid stayed true to his signature style, opting for a Fair Isle V-neck sweater over shorts, complemented by his signature iced-out wrist accessories.

In contrast, Burna Boy made a bold statement with a two-piece carton brown outfit, leaving his top unbuttoned to highlight a striking diamond necklace. Tems embraced a sophisticated look in an off-white ensemble, complete with a coat and black pumps, epitomising elegance. Nigerian American rapper Tobe Nwigwe added flair with a leather jacket and attention-grabbing brown extra-wide-leg trousers.

Pharrell’s collection and the fashion-forward presence of these Nigerian celebrities underscored the global influence of contemporary African style on the world stage.
