Netflix has released the trailer for the highly anticipated fourth and final season of “The Umbrella Academy,” set to premiere on August 8. The trailer provides a sneak peek into the concluding chapter of the Hargreaves siblings’ journey, highlighting the introduction of Nick Offerman as Dr Gene Thibedeau.

Dr Thibedeau, voiced by Offerman, describes the world as “one big phoney baloney lie” and emphasises the importance of “tentacle boy” in understanding all the timelines. This character reference points to Ben Hargreaves, played by Justin H. Min, whose storyline is expected to be central to the final season.

Ben, who previously died during a mission, appears crucial in the unfolding events.

The series, created by Steve Blackman and adapted from Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s Dark Horse comic book series, will conclude with a cast that includes returning actors Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross.

Fans eagerly await how the show will wrap up the complex, time-travelling saga of the Hargreaves family.
