Issakaba Sequel: Regina Daniels, Iyabo Ojo Join Cast

The star-studded cast of the 2001 action hit ‘Issakaba’ has been unveiled including actors like Sam Dede, Chidi Mokeme, and Phyna from Big Brother, along with newcomers like Sanni Danger, Nosa Rex, and Yekini “Itele” Ibrahim. Joining the lineup are familiar faces like Regina Daniel, Iyabo Ojo, and Alex Osifo, among others.

Based on the vigilantism of the Bakassi Boys, ‘Issakaba’ depicts their fight against crimes like armed robbery and murder. Led by Ebube (portrayed by Sam Dede), the Issakaba Boys confront armed robbers, who possess mystical powers. In response, Ebube’s team acquires their own powers to combat them.

The revival of this Nigerian action film, announced on Instagram by Sam Dede on January 27, 2024, marks a 23-year comeback. Lancelot Imasuen, who helmed the original in 2001, returns as director for the sequel.
