Former Konga CEO Nick Imudia Reportedly Dies by Suicide

Former Konga CEO, of one of Nigeria’s leading e-commerce platforms, Nick Imudia, who was serving as the CEO of D.light, a prominent innovator in residential solar energy solutions and household products, reportedly took his own life on the night of Tuesday, June 25, by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.

According to reports, Nick reached out to his US-based brother, giving him detailed instructions on how to distribute his wealth in the event of his demise.

He also made a poignant call to his young daughter from a previous relationship, assuring her that he would always be there for her and that she could find comfort by looking up at the sky.

Nick hailed from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. His first marriage to the mother of his daughter ended due to irreconcilable differences despite both being from the same local government.

He later found love again and married a Caucasian woman, a union many believed had brought him happiness and stability.

Before his tenure at Konga, Nick had a distinguished career, holding significant roles, including Regional Director at TCL/Alcatel and GM/MD for West and Central Africa at Microsoft Device and Services.
