Nigerian music sensation Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, recently opened up about his journey to success, revealing that he turned down several lucrative deals from heavyweight artists and music executives before ultimately signing with rapper Olamide’s YBNL Nation in 2018.

In a candid interview with Billboard News in Los Angeles, the “Peru” crooner expressed confidence in his decision, stating that he knew it was the right move for his career.

Despite receiving tempting offers from prominent figures in the music industry, Fireboy DML explained that he was drawn to Olamide’s vision and felt a solid connection to YBNL Nation’s ethos.
