922

Mrs Remi Wilson, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress and former Commissioner for Finance in Osun State, has sadly passed away.

She served as Commissioner for Finance and later as the Former Women’s Affairs under the administration of former Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola. Mrs Wilson is, thus, well-known in the Osun state political landscape.

The confirmation of her demise came in the early hours of Tuesday at her residence in Ilobu, Irepodun, a local government area of Osun State.

According to sources, Mrs Wilson actively partook in Christmas festivities, hosting guests at her home until late on Monday evening. Despite her apparent well-being during the gathering, she unexpectedly passed away around 4 am the following morning, Boxing Day. The cause of death is yet to be disclosed. It’s yet another record of holiday woes in the nation.
