Bridgerton Season 4 has officially started production as Netflix released official pictures of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, alongside his new love interest, Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha. The streaming giant confirmed that filming is underway and hinted at a captivating romance for the upcoming season.
The show’s fourth instalment will centre on Benedict, the bohemian second son of the Bridgerton family, who, unlike his brothers, is hesitant to marry. His outlook shifts dramatically when he meets a mysterious “Lady in Silver” at his mother’s masquerade ball, revealed to be Sophie, the illegitimate daughter of an earl who had faced hardship under her cruel stepfamily.
Based on previous production timelines, it is anticipated that filming for the fourth season could extend into mid-2025, with post-production delays pushing the release to late 2026.
The show’s editor and supervising producer, Jess Brownell, had earlier hinted at Season 4 being released in 2026. She also said the lengthy gap between seasons is due to intricate post-production work, including script rewrites, language dubbing, and editing challenges.
