Arsenal’s David Raya has emerged as the best goalkeeper, securing the Premier League Golden Glove award for the 2023/24 season.
The announcement came as Luton’s goal against Everton’s Jordan Pickford sealed Raya’s triumph, confirming his 29 wins and impressive 14 clean sheets throughout the campaign.
Raya’s stellar form between the posts has been a cornerstone of Arsenal’s defensive solidity, guiding the team through the season coming to an end in weeks.
His consistent shot-stopping prowess and commanding presence in the penalty area have earned him plaudits from fans and pundits alike.
Raya’s achievement marks a significant milestone for Arsenal, as he becomes the first goalkeeper from the club to clinch the Golden Glove since the legendary Petr Čech accomplished the feat in the 2015/16 season.
