Malian Armed Forces Seize Weapons, Ammunition In Kidal Region

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) recently seized a significant amount of weapons and ammunition in the Kidal region of Mali.
The operation took place in the Adrar des Ifoghas area, following intelligence received on Monday about suspicious activity east of the city.
Under orders from the commander of the 7th military region, Colonel-Major Daouda Sagara, a patrol was sent to the location, where they secured the area and uncovered weapons and ammunition linked to armed terrorist groups.
The military commander of the region expressed his gratitude to armed forces for their successful mission and praised the residents for their continued cooperation, encouraging them to keep supporting the military’s efforts to maintain security.
