The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service Director, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the incident in a statement posted on X and other videos.
According to Adeseye, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service received a distress call at 05:17 a.m. and immediately dispatched firefighters from the Ebute Elefun, Sari, and Lekki 1 stations.
The firefighters arrived at the scene by 05:33 a.m., where they promptly worked on quenching the fire.
