Davido’s “Timeless” Surpasses 450 Million Spotify Streams, Achieves Multiple Records

Davido’s fourth album, “Timeless,” has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 450 million streams on Spotify, marking his first album to reach this impressive figure on the platform. Released on March 31, 2024, “Timeless” has enjoyed substantial success, breaking multiple records. It set new benchmarks for opening day and week streams for a Nigerian album on Spotify, solidifying its place as Davido’s most streamed album.

Among the standout tracks from the album, “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keys has particularly shined, surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify. This makes it the first lead single by Davido to reach such heights.

“Timeless” has produced several hit singles, including “Feel,” “Kante” featuring Fave, and “No Competition” featuring Asake. The album’s success was further underscored by three nominations at the 66th Grammy Awards. “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keys earned a nomination for Best African Song Performance, “Feel” was nominated for Best Global Song Performance, and “Timeless” was recognised in the Best Global Album category.

Surpassing 450 million streams, “Timeless” has significantly contributed to Davido’s overall streaming numbers, pushing his total streams on Spotify past 2 billion. This achievement places him as the sixth most streamed Nigerian artist on the platform, following Wizkid (6.9B), Burna Boy (6.2B), Rema (3.6B), Tems (2.5B), and Ckay (2.2B).
