Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has addressed ongoing rumours suggesting that she doesn’t support her female counterparts in the music industry. Responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram regarding her collaborations with female artists, Tiwa Savage emphasised her contributions to supporting and collaborating with fellow women in the industry.

In her Instagram post, Tiwa Savage refuted the claims, stating,

But they always want to say Tiwa Savage does not like or support female artistes. Please who has more female collabs and there is so many more not even listed here. Y’all miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle money on my mind.

The singer recently teased an upcoming collaboration with Simi titled ‘Men Are Crazy,’ adding to her list of collaborations with female artists such as Waje, Ayra Starr, Efya, Amaare, and Becca.

Tiwa Savage’s response illuminates her commitment to supporting and uplifting fellow female musicians, debunking the notion that she doesn’t actively promote solidarity within the industry.
