New Documentary Series ‘Sounds of Nollywood’ Takes Audiences Behind the Scenes of Nigerian Films

Premiering on March 13, this documentary series offers viewers an exclusive look behind the scenes of sound compositions for some of Nollywood’s most notable projects, including Anikulapo, The Black Book, Jagun Jagun, Collision Course, and Battle on Buka Street. Presented by WeTalkSound in collaboration with In Nollywood, the documentary provides an immersive journey into the artistry and innovation of leading professionals in the field.

The series features renowned composers such as Ava Momoh, Anu Afolayan, Kulanen Ikyo, Tolu Obanro, and Clement ‘DJ Klem’ Kponu. According to Dolapo Amusat, CEO of WeTalkSound, “Sounds of Nollywood” celebrates creativity, passion, and innovation. It offers viewers intimate interviews and captivating behind-the-scenes footage to deepen their understanding of the pivotal role sound design plays in shaping the emotional impact of films.

From pulse-pounding action sequences to poignant dramatic moments, the series showcases the incredible talent and dedication of individuals who contribute to Nollywood’s sonic landscape.
