1.1k

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling soared to the top ranks of Forbes’ highest-paid actors in 2023, with Robbie, 33, clinching the second spot with a staggering $59 million. Robbie’s portrayal of Barbie, coupled with her production efforts through LuckyChap, earned her this distinction.

Gosling, 43, tied for fourth place with Matt Damon, each earning $43 million for their roles in the Barbie and Air movie, where Gosling played Ken. Meanwhile, Adam Sandler topped the list with $73 million, propelled by the success of “Murder Mystery 2” on Netflix and his stand-up comedy tour.

Jennifer Aniston, Sandler’s co-star in “Murder Mystery 2,” secured the sixth spot with $42 million, marking her presence as one of the  two women in the top 10. Denzel Washington landed in tenth place, the sole black actor in the list, with earnings of $24 million from “The Equalizer” franchise’s third installment.

Tom Cruise snagged the third spot with $45 million, attributed to his role in the latest “Mission: Impossible” film. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jason Statham tied for seventh place, each earning $41 million, with DiCaprio’s notable performance in “Killers Of The Flower Moon” and Statham’s appearances in multiple films including “Fast X” and “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.”

Ben Affleck secured the ninth spot, with $38 million, partly due to his directorial efforts in “Air” alongside Damon. Forbes’ rankings, based on interviews with industry experts and data from sources like IMDB Pro, reflects the actors’ taxed earnings related to entertainment in 2023.
