First Lady Tinubu donates $100,000 for Nigerian Hospital in Sierra Leone

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has given $100,000 to help Nigerians living in Sierra Leone get better medical care.
A newspaper from Sierra Leone, Sierraloaded, reported on February 1 that First Lady made this donation to help build a modern medical center in the country. This move is part of her plan to set up a top-notch medical facility for Nigerians living in Seira Leone.
It was said that the leader of the Nigerians in Diaspora, Sierra Leone Chapter (NIDO, SL), Abiodun Oyebola, played a big part in getting Tinubu’s support. He pointed out the poor state of healthcare facilities in Sierra Leone as a reason for needing this new medical center.
This $100,000 donation is aimed at making the NIDO MEDICAL CENTRE a reality. It’s expected to help meet the health needs of over 40,000 Nigerians living in Sierra Leone.
