Following the tragic loss of Nabeeha in the hands of her abductors, Remi Tinubu took to X to express deep sorrow as she urged Nigerians to continue praying for the safe return of the remaining sisters that are still held captive.
Extending her condolences to the grieving family, she said: “It is with a heavy heart that I acknowledge the devastating loss of Nabeeha and extend my deepest condolences to her grieving family.
“In difficult moments like this, I urge the nation to join in fervent prayers for the safe return of these girls. Let us hold the families close to our hearts in prayers.”
However, Mrs. Tinubu in her post urged security agencies to intensify their efforts in tackling pressing issues of kidnappings and insecurity in the nation.
“The safety and swift return of the Al-Kadriya sisters and others in captivity should be our paramount concern,” she added.
Supplicating for God’s comfort upon the family, Remi said, “May God bring the children back home safely.”
As the first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, implores the entire nation to engage in fervent prayers over the release of the Al-Kadriya sisters, one begins to wonder just how far prayers can go if it is met with a gross lack of effort on the part of the government and security forces in tracking and apprehending the abductors.
