MC Oluomo Declares Intent to Lead NURTW, Endorses Successor SEGO as Lagos Chairman

246

In a move that could reshape the leadership landscape of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo, has announced his bid to assume the chairmanship of the union.

This declaration came alongside his endorsement of Mustapha Sego as his potential successor for the Lagos NURTW Chairman role.

MC Oluomo, currently the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, has been making waves within the union and in the political sphere.

His inclusion in the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections further underscores his increasing prominence.

Specifically named in the Labour directorate of the committee, Mr. Akinsanya’s involvement signals a pivotal connection between the transport sector and the political landscape.

It should be recalled that Mr. Akinsanya held a significant “5 million man rally” in support of Mr. Tinubu and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the 2023 general elections.
