On Tuesday, the vision, pillars, logo, and captivating video for the 2030 FIFA World Cup bid were revealed in a momentous ceremony held at the Cidade do Futebol, the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation in Oeiras near Lisbon.

This unveiling marked a significant milestone as Portugal, Spain, and Morocco jointly announced their bid to host the prestigious event. All promising an unprecedented spectacle across three continents and six countries.

The 2030 Football World Cup, which Portugal, Spain, and Morocco will host, has garnered attention. The ambitious venture promises a global football celebration that transcends geographical boundaries.

One of the most remarkable features of the upcoming tournament is the tribute to history. The first three matches are scheduled to take place in South America, specifically in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay.

This homage is intended to honour the centenary of the inaugural FIFA World Cup, which was held in Uruguay in 1930, marking the genesis of football’s most prestigious event.

The 2030 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Portugal, a newcomer to organising the World Cup, has a rich footballing heritage, having previously hosted the 2004 European Championship.

With its storied football history, Spain has the experience of hosting the Euro 1964 and the iconic 1982 World Cup.

Together with Morocco, these nations are poised to deliver a World Cup experience like no other.
